Picked up a Trinitron (KV-20S100) a little while back, using my Wii via component for emulators in 240p lands a pretty sexy picture.

Problem is, the thing doesn't have a single s-video port on it...

Combing through Google has proven fruitless, at least for me, does anyone know if you can solder an s-video port onto the existing boards inside of these?

I imagine along with getting a port plumbed in correctly, the TVs firmware would need to be reflashed to add an extra "Video" channel for it, unless I replace one of the composite ins (which I wouldn't miss)

Thoughts? Any experience with modding new inputs into TVs in general? If I could actually figure this out, the next goal would be a SCART or VGA port...

Pic related, took it the other day to explain scanlines to a friend
