MM8 has my favorite weapon set and I love the sheer diversity in level design. I really wish the series could have continued in this direction. MM&B, 9 and 10 are great games too but I miss the Saturday morning cartoon feel MM8 had going for it, really completed my love for the series. An easy way to tell if someone's blindly hating is if they don't realize how useful the mega ball is and are still having difficulty on the jet board segments.
