they are really easy to identify.
001 screen are always laminated.
real 101 screens have the backlight terminals exposed at the back.
drop in ips's don't have the backlight terminal exposed and the connector of the ribbon is different.

it doesn't but you can integrate it yourself with the simple firmware.
just copy the jagoomba color and goomba palleted roms into system/plug and rename them gbc.gba and gb.gba respectively.
