Has anybody ever made an RPG using the Quake 1 engine?

Also, just thought I should post this, its a port of QuakeWorld back to DOS.
Although original vanilla Quake was released for DOS, the online Quakeworld client was windows and *nix only.

As long as you have a packet driver and TCP/IP stack loaded, you can play online quakeworld matches with the Windows and *nix people:
