Nobody want's to put time into making a thread only to have zoom zoom zoomers come in and shit it up because they don't realize that rpgs are probably the most retro genre outside text adventures

I played both DQIV versions with>>5313763 enabled and whiteout it and i can say that the game is like night and day, with the code ON Meena is useless since Kiryl has better healing spells and he won't waste turns casting Whack or other instakilling spells, but with the code off this becomes the complete opposite Meena is a must.
Since i first played the game back in the day i always though what was the deal with your party and why the developers did such a thing, the AI isn't bad and Kiryl can learn through a battle but and of course you can guide them but that isn't nearly as fun as the games before it, all this shit is like closing a chapter of my Dragon Quest life, next thing is find out if Zenithia from DQ3 is the same from DQ4 and Rubiss from DQ6 is the same as DQ2 and DQ3.

I am playing through Dragon Quest IV with a cheat that enables direct control of your party in the 5th Chapter, only problem is that you can't change party member on battle.
