From what I've played so far anon it might be quite a small number of roms that could be affected. I've played so far Seiken Densetsu 3, Gunman's Proof, Clock Tower, Retranlations of Chrono Trigger, Dragon's Quest I & II Snes Version, Dragon Quest 3, Shin Megami Tensei, Umihara Kawase and some Arabian nights themed JRPG that I can't recall at this time all from this paticular rom pack from Emuparadise.

Basically all of them ran fairly well with the only exception being SD3 with an issue where it got stuck looping the title screen and intro scene that was corrected when I reloaded the rom.

This also wasn't on some fancy ass tech but the Chinese snes everdrive. With a North American version snes model SNS-001. I would have to say that full on hacked roms opposed to translations might have more issues running on real hardware but I'm too scared to try it personally.

It's all about taking the time to see what works and when it does it can be pretty gratifying to play something that was never released here. I would say don't be afraid to try anon.

LGR also talks about that Noid game I think. There's some YT game reviewer anyway who uses that laughing bit as an example of how sound effects on PC back in those days had to be "clicks" timed by the CPU itself.

You're making all good points... until I realized the only GTA game I ever got close to finish was 2, probably because it's the one I've played the most. In all the GTA3+ games I've played, I always ended up doing a couple of missions, get bored with that type of gameplay in return to the good ol' psychopath sandbox mode.
