**Also, try out your various DOSBox graphical output settings as performance can be much improved and it's highly subjective to your system. With a newer system I had the game running on Direct3D output, and the mouse aim felt a million times better and more responsive than the default Overlay output. It also felt better than OpenGL and Surface.
