spent about $215 on a turbo grafx 16 with some extra tid bits like the cd unit and carry case for it.

could of spent an extra $100 and got a good turbo duo and be able to play super cd games but i wasn't thinking.. now i have to drop $200 or so if i want a super system card.

at least i really enjoy the system.

if you want shmup you really need to look at the correct console.

pc-engine would be better suited but this is the only version i personally own.

i will agree with you there. i had to actually haggle down this to $225. shit's pricey but damn it's nice, in hindsight i should of went for a turbo duo since the super system card is like $150+ while the duo has it built in.

plan on picking up Ys, Dragon's Curse, and a few others but overall how is my collection coming along?

also any suggestions? try to avoid any super cd games as i didn't opt for the turbo duo and the super system card is almost $200

i know i am in for a wild ride as you can't find this stuff locally other than by pure luck.

managed to somehow find a few good tg16 games at goodwill last month for $2 each and they all had their cases and only one was missing the manual well except for bonk's revenge that came in a case for bonk's adventure.
