I am not a fan of Retroarch's implementation for selecting resolutions(especially for systems that use multiple resolutions) and couldn't for the life of me get the Gambatte core (or VBA core) to output the proper resolution for GB/GBC or GBA games (160x144/260x160)
There's also eMGBA to keep an eye on, should that ever add 240p support.

Like I said, it's a matter of person opinion, and arguing over it is just pointless and silly. Just go with what looks good to yourself.
D65 makes the whites in some games look too tinged in yellow to me, but I can see where 9300k could make things look too cold for some people.

>2) you used NESRGB
Wii, actually. I don't have enough NES games at the moment to justify to myself getting an NESRGB at the moment.

>a mostly blue screen is not a good example
I made the image because it was at that point that I was playing the game and thought "Huh, these reds look a bit off."(in 9300k) That was an example where I thought D65 looked better, rather than the other way around.

If you want comparison pictures done, give ideas and specific areas; I'll be happy to take them. Or any photo ideas for that matter.

You don't have to tell me that; I've been suggesting that for at least a year and a half. That camera in particular liked defaulting to the Tungsten setting for CRTs. With this new one, I manually set it for color temp (so 9300k most of the time.)

I'm using a point'n'shoot that put me back <$20 from ebay to replace a few months back.

It's a piece of shit, but it works alright for what I use it for.

It's going to be crazy if and when I get a new camera, comparing the new photos to the old.
