Correct, the pipe frame Kart is selectable, one of the better choice and imo still the best design, but i feel like they fucked up the tire design for it, and there's nothing really similar to it in-game, here's an example of a mod that replaces the body and tires to something more accurate to the original Mario Kart design.

Regardless of the model being selectable, i think the thread is about Nintendo approaching this series again focusing on that aesthetic, even the track design being more fitting for Karts like those.

The series has definitely taken a very flashy, action oriented route, everything is massive and visually saturated like a Marvel Movie.
