I originally played this at a local restaurant (of all places) when I was 12 or something and it took be so long to find out what game it was from my memories. While this screenshot is the emulated N64 version just playing it again brought me back to that experience. Fun times.

I'm just....lets say influenced by arcade racers over sims due to playing in arcades and the early games that embraced 3D in the console space rather than the more sim inspired roots the PC gaming scene fostered. Put it this way i'm more cruisin' USA than newman haas racing.

I have a soft spot for USA as I played it at the arcade back in the day when I was 10 or something so it hits me right in the feels but yeah the later titles are generally superior.
