Some HuCards used it too. They were several backup devices for the PC Engine, since it was easier to sell them separately than to include battery backup in every game that required it (due to the small sizes of the HuCards). The most popular choice was the Ten no Koe 2 by Hudson Soft. They were basically memory cards before memory cards were a thing.
