Unfortunately nowadays FF is more about trying to make another VII than anything else.

Squeenix in general seem to be sticks in the mud that won't budge very far to make anything better. On that note, to me Square died after the merger as they seemed to start "playing things safe" after that.

Can we at least attempt to discuss companies other than Squaresoft/SquareEnix? Or at least can we attempt to not shit up this thread with "My FF is better than yours!!!11!" bullshit?

A defunct company/genre I miss is Impressions Games and their city building games.
