the game has zero depth in its fighting system, which is bad for a game thats focused around it as a core mechanic. what little combos there are, are pointless as its just the same move over and over until you get a QTE

same shit, the game doesnt get any better, it just forces you to cheese the game now

at least shit like DMC has an actual combo system, and a ranking system that encourages you to actually mix up your moves to keep the fights from getting stale, and combos that actually take timing to get down. switching to hard in DMC is very different from switching to hard in GOW, its like night and day with how you can actually play DMC on harder difficulties without cheesing it and how much more polished it is.
never played ninja gaiden so i cant comment on that

even fucking prince of persia has more thought out combat, and does puzzle platforming thats actually fun to do, unlike GOW
