Only have played Kings Field IV and its fantastic. The only bad part is how slow it starts so Im greatful that From's newer games exist to motivate me to push through it, the first hour or two is frustrating and awful but once youre past that it reminds me a lot of Metroid Prime. Really good game and makes me happy Fromsoft eventually got their time to shine later on, since all their games before Dark Souls only had niche sales at best.

I understand very little about CRTs, and really TV technology and video coding, outside of resolutions.
I use a CRT because it's comfy, looks nice to me, reminds me of when I was a kid, and I like the hum.

>years after beating the objective and have multiple hundreds of thousands of dollars on hand
>buy some land that isn't connected to the main park
>create a little area with some rides, its own staff, and concessions, make the rides and food in that area free
>pick up around 5-10 people, some random, some based on conditions like the last winner of the go kart race or somebody who has a red angry face
>trap them for eternity, but they're completely happy about it

I'm 100% with you on that. Certain games have such tight controls - I would never play mario world on an emulator because I have a real snes and a crt. I have no problem with people who have standards for themselves and preferences, but just don't go shitting on someone who would enjoy the game on an emulator. If they still have fun, that's what matters. If they are really passionate about it and play it a lot, eventually they will realize and come to notice the input lag on their own, and then perhaps invest in the real deal.
It all comes down to what you like. I like a few genesis games but not enough of them where I feel the need to get a real genesis, so I emulate. If you are using a good computer and monitor these days the lag of emulators isn't THAT bad.

Whenever this video came on The Box, I would grab my N64 controller and pretend I was playing it.

>tfw I played this for the first time in 2012 and loved it

it holds up and is an incredible game, some of the most fun I've ever had with one. The world design is fantastic, it feels big but is only as big as it needs to be, more importantly its design feels cohesive.
