Give me your opinion on RetroAchievements while I have a smoke break

What am I supposed to do on the bat boss in RE0? Its almost impossible to hit with the flame rounds and If I do manage to hit it little bats come and im just screwed, They attack me one after the other until big boy either picks me up or hits me, Theres gotta be another way to do this that im not seeing right? as soon as the little bats show up i get no chance to act, I cant even kill them efficiently before dieing because theres so damn many that are just repeatedly attacking me one after the other. Theres next to 0 depth perception, I cant tell whats next to me, infront of me or behind me.
