im trying to beat doom 2 on ultraviolence. any tips in general for doom? how to deal with certain enemies and how to properly use the guns if possible ( i know the minigun is deadly with just burst fire at long range ).

also i can't beat Ultimate Doom's 4th chapter. how the fuck? like on any setting. how the fuck.

TNT and that other expac i can't remember. i can't even hold my own at the moment on those.

and lastly. sidequestion. i see a lot of hate against brutal doom and was just curious what is disliked about it. i assumed it was that it changed the entire feel of doom to be more...well too modern? i like it but im curious as to why you guys don't.

For the record im trying to beat doom 2 and the others on ultra violence with all original controls n shit before playing them again with mods.

Tl:DR tips on how to get gud at doom and why do people hate brutal doom because i haven't lurked long enough or some shit.
