Nihon Falcom thread? For some reason they were not much Falcom games on the SFC or PS and instead were on NEC or Sega consoles. And half the games never left Japan. Might be why a lot of westeners missed out of Falcom games.

However I love their mix of anime, fantasy, action, and rpgs. In fact they were way ahead of the curve of moving away from menu based combat to real time combat. The feel of their games seems to be really inspired by D&D and as they went on they added more anime to the mix.

I wish they would return to their roots. They could really cash in on those "souls" type games and maybe add some anime girls.
