I've heard of people extending the lever in case it becomes weak, but why tape it like this? Dreamcast doesn't need disc switching really.

I removed it after and it worked, but due to her old age, she stopped reading a bootleg half-life dc disc mid game, so she's better but it still pains me to see her fumble
