The shotgun/grenade combo also remembers how much ammo was left in the mag when you switch between them. It's a pretty weird contrast for a game that reloads your weapons when you cancel via switching. That and having to wait for weapons to finish their firing frames to get a switch going were the only thorns to this rose for me.

It has my favorite shotgun since Blood. I was alternating comfortably between it, the pistol, and the crossbow the most. Grenades were used when appropriate, SMGs or magnum on fliers, chaingun on fatties, I'm a big fan of it all.

They're all strong and fun weapons. The only thing I don't really like are the submachine guns, but I didn't like the uzis much in Shadow Warrior either so I think it's just me.
