Oh wow, I looked for The Guardian Legend, and I found the earliest mention of "casual" ever...

Damn, what a frustrating game! It alternates between the ridiculously
hard and maddeningly easy. I don't recommend it for the casual couch
potato.

Any wizards at it? I've gotten down 3-4 corridors, but can't kill the
cyclops globe thing that spews out I-beams (well, thats what they look like)
and bubbles.

Also, I wish that game makers would stop requiring 30-40 character passwords!

Then play the legit thing. If you can't with this easy mode, you're hopeless.
