Not that unique in the gameplay department, but the setting is awesome. I'll recommend the PSP version over the Saturn ver though.

Tengai Makyou series is not that obscure, but this spin off is quite funny (Tengai Makyou the fourth Apocalypse). It's the only game based outside of Zipang. The battle system might seem a bit outdated for 1998 but the best part of the game are the gags and the dialogue.

Tengai Makyou (Far East of Eden) this series dont get enough love from translators. Im playing through the PSP version of "The Fourth Apocalypse", and damn... it's so fun and quirky... I played other games on this series, but this is my favorite.
