Cheers guys. Just had a dig in the DoomBuilder manual and now you've said "linedef" I've got it. (It's an idea for a secret,and it ties into a cosmetic effect I've just succeeded in putting together)

I think I may end up redoing this map from scratch but I'm getting the hang of it now. Still got a hell of a lot to learn, though. But - and I guess this is the important bit - I'm having fun doing this.
