Also he only helps him because helping Ramza also lets him help himself by getting rid of shit in the way of his plans (fucking demons.)

If Ramza even slightly hinted at not being okay with Delita's actions or was in any way an obstalce for him, Delita would have taken him out without thinking twice. Delita is not a great friend.

Yeah, but history doesn't have Delita.

Really, I find the setting fine for telling one of the best character stories I've ever experienced. Ramza and Delita are literally the perfect foils of each other.
