I've never really thought of a retro ShowBiz/Pizza Time Theatre thread as being suitable content for /vr/, but since this thread is in full swing, I'll have at it.

I guess I'll start off with the fact that the Rock-afire Explosion was cool beans. If you've never seen one of their shows, their style and quality will come as a total surprise. The first few years were kind of rough, but after that, it's all gold. If you feel like listening to a fair amount of them, I would recommend using this guide on the ultra-reliable documentation website: http://www.showbizpizza.com/review/rae/index.html

These are some of my favorite shows:

And then we have the absolutely fantastic '87-'88 New Year's show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2879kqzq9PI
Just mind the awkward still image from Aaron Fechter's own stage in that last one.

"Finally"? We've had tons of '80s Rock-afire footage on the internet since at least the earliest years of YouTube. If you want a real revelation, just look at that professionally-recorded footage of Chuck E. Cheese's "portrait bots" that somebody uncovered in March of last year. We had literally never seen any footage of them whatsoever on the internet until that point, and even then, we still need at least some video of Crusty the Cat (in my image), who was only around for about a year before being replaced by Mr. Munch in 1978. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIBJPPoIG1k
