I like how the kiddos, who are quickly figuring out that this hobby is only going to keep increasing in price, are starting to brainwash themselves into buying bootleg chink carts just to not have to stop buying overpriced plastic. It was never your nostalgia to begin with, as most of you aren't close to old enough to have been around when this shit was new. But now it's not even your parent's nostalgia that you're buying. It's literally counterfeit goods that you're paying exorbitant prices for. If there are valid arguments for emulation or flash carts, this has to be one of them.

>Whatever homoerotic imagery you want to have in your head, I guess.
I'm sure you have that Twitter pic saved. You seem like the type.
>This thread is about Sapphire and how a copefag is mad that some e-celeb owns a real copy of it.
Yes, but I'm here to make fun of you for whiteknighting an internet fagmo that you don't even know. I gave you the advice you needed to go join his fanclub, but you'd rather stay here and get clowned. Fine by me. Turkey's nowhere near ready yet anyway.

>sealed inside a plastic "collector's authenticity" case with super legit numbers and words printed on it complete with seals and everything!
>totally not a counterfeit tho
>just trust me dude, cause, like, plastic case with special numbers and seals on it
I want to make some joke about Schrodinger's Bootleg here, but there's really no doubt it's fake.

>Like, if you have already the actual console, why not buy the genuine thing? you might as well emulate at that point.
Retrofetishism and not enough disposable income. That's why. Emulation or hardware with a flashcart would be much easier and cheaper, yes, but then you don't have a shelf decoration that says "I'm cool and hip for liking old things/I'm a member of an exclusive club."

Explain, in as much detail as you can, exactly how the cart in your picture is fake.

Was there ever any doubt? You didn't really think all that richfag elitist larping was real, did you? They're just dumb kids who were too stupid to use a computer, but just smart enough to spend their parent's money on plastic crap that's older than they are.

Anyway, check out my latest pickup. It's a totally legit authentic cart and the price was a steal.

I love threads where some ignorant fuckhead with more attitude than brains says something stupid and then promptly gets his shit pushed in for it. They spend the rest of the thread desperately trying to troll anyone in order to soothe the asshurt, and watching it all brings me untold amounts of joy. I just wanted everyone to know. Thank you for your attention. I'll leave you with a picture of a super rare collectible gem.

>paying anywhere near "market value" for old plastic
>not expecting to get laughed at by actual collectors who aren't just throwing gobs of their parents money at ebay in order to desperately try to fit in or impress someone on an anonymous imageboard

tl;dr
Another run of the mill hipster collector, in it for the "nerd cred", burns out when he realizes no one is impressed by old plastic on a shelf.

Film at 11.
