The idea is for the canonically very dominant and strong female to be the one being dominated for a change, same shit that happens with characters like Chun-Li. I'd be down for more doujins and art where Samus is the top just for the sake of variety but I can't say I don't understand why it's done or the appeal since I like the idea of dominating tough strong women too.
