Iroha, the voluptuous Ninja Maid from Samurai Spirits / Samurai Shodown, is named after a Japanese poem:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iroha
The poem is one of the most important in Japan's history. It is a "pangram", a phrase that contains every letter in a language's alphabet, such as "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog". Iroha however is a PERFECT pangram- it contains every letter exactly once.
The poem is a Buddhist prayer about not becoming distracted by fleeting beauty. The word "Iroha" means "dazzling petals".
Because it contains each letter exactly once, it was used as the alphabetical order of Japanese for centuries. Because of this, the word "Iroha" is also used to mean "ABCs" or "101"- the basics of a subject.
