My biggest gripe with the Genesis flash carts is that CD and SMS support goes out the window if you have a 32X. It doesn't pass all the cartridge pins to the Genesis without a shitty mod that isn't reliable, and even that has only been tested for SMS support. On the other hand, I think I am interested in fewer than ten or so Sega CD games so I can still do a tower of power, burn those few to disc, and run my SMS game on my actual SMS where the FM support isn't hard filtered by the Genesis audio circuit.
Most of these problems would be solved if TerraOnion actually released the MSDEXP but their support is dog shit.

>it didn't feel right for me after playing the american version
I understand. The hit points basically turn it into a different game. Call me a wuss or whatever but I prefer it this way, it's way more versatile, specially with that never-ending Jungle boss. You could use the JAP version to practise or to show the game to friends tho, that's the beauty of Hard Corps, it's both the easiest and hardest Contra game.

>I upgraded the Speed Up slot to the max
That always fucked me up, I honestly think upgrading Speed more than twice is a mistake. But what do I know, I can't even consistently get past the stage 1 volcanoes. I'm bad at videogames.

To stay on topic, I've been trying to 1CC Ninja Warriors during quarantine, and Phobos/Deimos (6th bosses) always put a stop to my runs. I really need to work on stunning them both, cause their grab is horseshit, it does a lot of damage and has absurd range, even with Ninja's giant swing, they manage to either sandwich me or slip away. Gah.

People don't seem to talk about Hard Corps here. Maybe they would if it was on a Nintendo system.

Tons of shit posting recently on the board...

Anyway, I've scripted the drum kit and it plays nicely now. I copied the volumes from the tracker files, but they may need to be adjusted once the song is fully scored to work on the SNES. We'll see. Superbusy with homework atm, but I'll push when I get more tracks done.

Pushed updates to github.

This one always helped me remember where the game genie was.
