here is my proposition:

gothic lolita, based on main character from "psycho gothic lolita" film which is CUHRAYZEE jap grindhouse, I think outfit would fit the style you are going for, not sure about spritework tho, might be hard to pull off.
my mate brought that film at one time and I told him that title is ridiculous enough that I dont even want to watch it with him, eventually I caved in and we watched it, film opens with 5 minute montage of guy eating spaghetti in a very frantic fashion and some cuts to a backroom mahjong game, shit hits the fan pretty quick, we get Devil May Cry type action + typical jap humor, I went from disliking it based on title alone to loving every minute in those 5 minutes, and so I wish you watched this too and made another outfit for mod as a homage, that is if you enjoy the film.
