This is my other favorite tv 1989 Zenith Space Command. RF only, on a splitter between the genesis and NES.
The matching vcr is always a nice touch

Thanks! Yes I love how nice the wood grain is on the tv and VCR.
It is RF only, but I’ve come to view it as this tv’s strength. It can’t display an RGB signal, let alone composite, but for a tv from 1989, it’s probably the most authentic way to view and play the NES and Genesis.

My 1989 13’ Zenith Space Command! With my NES and Genesis hooked up to the RF through an RF splitter. With matching wood grain Zenith VCR.

I’m seriously considering passing this setup onto my kids. Things will be so different by the mid 2020’s to the 2030’s. I would want my kids to have some kind of frame of reference to the amazing time they will live in, and learn to appreciate what they have compared to generations before.

My current setup in my bedroom I’m renting for trade school. A 1989 Zenith Space Command w/ matching Zenith VCR with both Genesis and NES hooked up to RF through an RF splitter. The picture isn’t as clear as some newer TVs with better connections, but it’s probably the most authentic.
