I still liked it but it felt rush is all. I guess my problem is that the next games it seems like Earthrealm military stuff takes center stage and it bores me. I could be misremembering because I did like the parts when they weren't around.

Even then they could go back and let you play through the events of the Shirai Ryu being slaughtered or the original Sub-Zero becoming Noob Saibot instead of showing a stupid flashback every time. They pull stuff like Raiden killing Lui Kang (except not really) instead.

Imagine if they forgot to add Reptile and released characters no one gives a fuck about like Rambo, Robocop, and Sheeva instead? Reptile has been getting fucked since MK4 and it's tiring to see. On that note I'd also like to see Havok.

Definitely my favorite. I'm biased but I also liked Reptile's torso rip because you don't really see how it's done. Kung Lao's hat slice is still way cooler.
