Yep the gameplay of classic TR is slow and methodical there really isn't a platformer like it and it sticks with you a long time which is why great fan maps are still being made today. It's kinda like the platformer Thief in how you slowly move through a labyrinth of a level and when you finally finish you see the timer and it took you 2+ hours.
