alright enough chink bootleg handhelds... I finally got a genesis nomad.

even with the screen mod this thing is the closest I have to a CRT--most my retro gaming is via pc emulation or modded handhelds.

one of the surprising things about this device is how fucking soulful the sound is. there's a tone to the sound that reminds me of what TV sounded like in the 90s, very comfy.

any peripheral or other beginner recommendations? either to hook it up to a TV, battery packs, etc. first games to buy etc
