Bumping this.

I'd like to know if it's possible in any way to remove the RNG for attacks; to remove the 1d8, 1d5 and 1d10 rolls that each attack is to perform capturing the individual damage value of each projectile or hitscan. This individual damage value is something that can be changed through DeHacked, so if I can simply remove the rolls given, I could modify the damage values to be fixed to my liking.

I really like accomplishments within the limitations of the hardware. Often I stumble upon a game and think "This looks/sounds amazing! What a marvel!". It is the joy of discovering games like that, what keeps me going on.

This also extends to storytelling. Just left-to-right-bing-bing-wahoo doesn't wow me as much as a game that has ideas or mechanics that try to vary it from dull and boring platformers. Friday the 13th on NES for instance.... Not as bad as people say it is.

Of course, I'm also happy to see boundaries being pushed in modern games, but this is a retro board.

Bought this tiny Phillips the other day. It's no PVM, but it looks better in person that it does in this picture, where I tried to get some light on it, which makes the screen look a bit washed out.
