Map makers, why do you insist on ruining your maps just like that?

Also happens with valuable items like soul spheres and megaspheres. They're useless when you force me to pick them up when I don't need them.

It's noclip time again, thanks to your shitty item placement.

I spent a *long* time on that level, because the shareware Descent did not have mid-level saving. That came in the registered versions. You had to complete the level in one sitting. Those Drillers were almost completely unbeatable with the level 1 lasers you always had to start with. I finally completed the level with only single-digit shields left. On the fucking Trainee skill.

Strangely enough, level 7 was/is easy compared to level 6. At least until the very end...
