Hey guys. Last year I got really into retro video games for like a month and bought a bunch of shit I no longer use. One thing I DO still use is this 21" IBM P275. Got it for $40, and I'm really happy with it. Anyway, I forgot everything I knew about CRTs so I have a few questions.

>How often should I degauss my monitor?
>Will degaussing right next to my laptop damage it? (I have an SSD not HDD)
>Will running it at 1600x1200/85Hz (rather than lower resolution/Hz) shorten the lifespan?
