Btw what do you think about Deponia? I've just finished the first one and this is the first game in decades that gave me the super comfy Monkey Island feel again.
We might have a point and click adventure revival going on in Europe.

The controls sucked and the game suffered because of them. There's no denying it.
Also Telltale games suck ass and the puzzles don't make any sense. It's like they don't even try to make a good game. Just reused assets over and over to get some quick cash.

Well I was super pissed about the controls when I first played it, but eventually got used to them.
Point and click would still have been better, though.

It's a Lucasfilm/arts adventure. People bought them blind because they were used to them being high quality point and click games.

I'm still mad they don't make these games anymore because "the market has changed".
Daedalic's point and click adventures sell like hot cakes, so market has changed my ass.

Germany has the crown of point and click adventures. They actually still produce top notch huge selling games in that genre while everybody else is dead.
