Here's my setup, sorry for the horrible quality of the camera. I use one of those generic hdmi to component converters. I have an Nvidia GTX770 and set the custom resolutions though the nvidia control panel (CRU didn't work for me). No noticebale lag, I usually play Bust a Groove and DDR which have very strict timing.
