I think 3d realms deserve your cash. Maybe.
Although they also seem to be on a knife edge, but I would really love for the throwback shooter so to speak to get some ground.

But not for the reasons you think. I think we could create a really nice scene of picking up the best elements of 90s shooters or even immersive sims, use some decent low to mid poly models and sprites and create ever more aesthetic pleasing games.

We shall see. This might only be a fad and fade away pretty fast. Gaming is dying in general. Thanks china.
