haha gotcha, they could have once had the license and it's since expired. I have a copy of Godzilla 2000 from Universe Laser and Video Co. (which is indeed a legit HK distributor), I ripped it for the hell of it but it ain't pretty. They're also more work to rip than a DVD or BD because you pull the DAT files off each disc, convert those losslessly with ffmpeg or something and then join the files together into a single video. Not the worst, but more time consuming than pressing "rip disc".
