the photo shows no distortion from refraction of whats visible behind the lens.. so its not hyper nor myo.

and for presbyopia (also refraction lens) its sometimes only refractory on the lower center region of the lens, so in this pic (with glasses slid a lil down) only the skin below the eye pockets would be distorted and therefore not really detectable in such a low-res pic.
but its very unlikely for a man under 40 to have presbyopia.

so only astigmatism remains as a marginal chance (keratoconis too rare even in adolescence and by late adulthood it stabilizes), and people who have only astigmatism, have it to less than ppl with myo or hyper in association.

and a low degree of astigmatism (actually even high like mine) doesnt interfere with reading signs on the wall or reading a book, or social interactions via exchange of microexpressions (far or upclose), some ppl with astigmatism can even pass as 20/20.

theres no reason someone with low degree fo astigmatism would want to wear glasses 24/7 in all situations like ppl with myopia do.
so that guy is just using it to pass as nerd.
