they work fine for cartoons
hardcore shmups\platformers need not apply due to frame-drop but for Point&click and visual novel\rpg tiddy simulators it seems perfect

i might build a small \bst\ just for pc98\x68000
rehouse a intel NUC+video adapter into a cool case (repurposed vintage item) and have it on deck near the crt at all times

Apparently there are only about eleven English-friendly games on it, plus the Anime Freak FX discs and maybe one or two others, so I will probably check those out first. Still open to suggestions though, even though it has a very small library there must be some games worth playing on it. I'm really looking forward to Zeroigar with the English patch personally

It seems to share a lot of similarities with the other FMV-focused/"Gen 4.5" consoles which has me interested. It's probably my favorite time period of gaming hardware, even if most consoles/add-ons didn't make it around that time.

The controller resembles the six button TG-16 pad, though I feel like most games probably don't use all six buttons at all this time. I feel like backwards compatibility would've made this console a lot cooler, but possibly it's not that bad...

Even so it was a very niche console, only and literally otaku games, date sims and some bitching hot lolicon games.
