Alright. I don't think i'm painting a clear enough picture so heres this.

I live on ground level of whats basically a reconstructed farm my family owns. My bedroom was originally a coop, so its got no power outlets or wiring, all my wires come from a storage room next door thats got the generator in it. So when I say hardwired, I mean the cables extend through the walls and such to reach the next room over.

The sitting room (Or living room for non southerners) is across from the building and part of the main farmhouse, where the kitchen and the other folks bedrooms are top level.

The retron (purple) would go here, its got its own wiring and electrical power, so it wouldn't be an issue.

So its not as easy as you folks think to unwire the mess and move it over back and forth. I told you, house is pretty outta date..
