I've watched his vid right before starting up the game, and finished SiGil only 10 minutes ago. It was actually really good, better than DOOM 2, and about equal to a very good DOOM 1 chapter.
I don't agree with anything he's saying in the video, I didn't feel cramped, the bridge part didn't feel unfair, and I don't feel like it overly relied on certain enemies at all, it just knows which enemies actually stand a change at doing damage instead of throwing an army of easy kills at you.

Then again take my advice any way you want to, since my favorite DOOM game is DOOM 64 and I've just shat on DOOM 2.
