First off, this is mono audio. You are plugging the audio into 2 different inputs which does nothing. You need an rca splitter/y to combine them into one. It' not ideal but it's what you can do. Other popular options include amplified/powered computer speakers, but you will need a headphone to rca splitter/adapter. This is how to get stereo.

Secondly, as has been said, you need a rca to bnc connector.

That said you really need an s-video cable for your snes so it's outputting the best connection your monitor accepts. Figure out which version you have, if it's a 1chip do the voultar snes rgb mod as it restores s-video. If you don't have a 1chip all you need is an snes s-video cable.

There is usually a /crt/ general at all times. There is TONS of great info in the OP about various problems and fixes.

I have trolled around the internet quite a bit, and this is honestly the most informative and educational site on the net that I have found for discussion of fixing and repair, though mostly it is just general discussion of the technology. And then there is that guy that always spams the 12 bad things about CRTs in every thread with bullet points. He is a tool. Ignore him. I am somewhat surprised he hasn't spammed this up yet.

I don't see why anyone would want to procure every type of tube TV. That's a waste of time and effort. Just pick up what's good for your setup. I imagine most "serious" CRT collectors only get monitors they need.
