update: nothing is working, can't downgrade my firmware, can't load psx eboots, can't check my motherboard because that eboot doesn't work.

I bought the psp used, and it has a GAME150 folder and an iso for metal gear solid something or other, but I just want to get this to work. I don't care if it's permanent or not.

Thanks anon, I don't care if I have to run a program each time, I just want to be able to USE the fscking thing. Also playing my way through Ys 7 as we speak after marathon 1/2, oath and origins.


So far everything I've managed to find is downloads for programs but no goddamn information on HOW to use them or install them or whatever. I've been at this for ages and I'm getting pretty pissed off after waiting half an hour for a psx eboot to download only to find out that they DON'T work on official firmware. Since I'd read they DO which is why I downloaded one.
