That's good for you Anon, TLR also has the raw content to keep you occupied for quite some time if you're a completionist, lots of quests to do.

I totally agree with your view on the map layout, those are my very same complaints.
I like minimalistic layouts but Unlimited crossed the line from Less is More to Less is Bore too fast, I love the artwork pieces of each location and dungeon event tiles but all the rest is frankly too barebones after a while, and it's quite a shame since everything else is perfect.

>How much SaGa is The Last Remnant?
Pretty much a SaGa game, but more linear and with a battle system based on RomaSaGa 3 commander mode, with multiple parties you have to manage.
>How long is it?
Pretty long especially if you want to squeeze everything out of a run.
Actually it might be just too long if you do want to get everything out of a run and can get pretty grindy.
>Many secrets and mysterious stuff?
Quite a bit of those considering there's a pretty complex system of subquests that requires you to talk or arrange talks with a lot of people. Though I personally think it lacks the atmosphere of SaGa in terms of mystery, it is gorgeous looking but at the same time it doesn't really have that kind of SaGa charm for me, I don't really know why, maybe it's just too visually rich, maybe I just don't like the art direction that much.

I'll give it 5/8 SaGas.
