I loved Lynx and Harle.

Lynx has so much wrong with him, really. He's honestly a terrible character, getting away with all the shit he does while being so blatantly fucking evil, while working with characters who are not actually supposed to be evil, like Viper or fucking Kid, and then whenever you meet him he starts babbling like a loony. I'm able to follow the plot of Cross now, and yet I'm still pretty sure Lynx is just trying really, really hard to sound deep.
But one thing I always liked about him was his pure style. That outfit, and that bigass fucking scythe, and general sense of malice he has surrounding him. And it's all kindof ridiculous, to be honest.

But then he's paired up with Harle. And because of Harle it works.

Harle is Lynx's total opposite. She's silly and carefree, and occasionally babbles off pseudo-intellectualism, but she does it in a really offhanded way. She's not really that much of a villain. She was mostly just doing what she had to do and having fun along the way.
And yet she always had this slight tinge of creepiness to her, the sense that she knew more than she was letting on (and she really, really did).

I think, separately, Lynx would have been too ridiculous, and Harle would have been interesting but unimportant.

But as a duo, they just work.

I was so psyched the first time, when you get turned into Lynx, and Harle just joins up with you. They're just the best.
