Why don't they just replace the Jackson tracks?

No, it's not bad but it's a mess and it doesn't have his spirit. Sonic 3/K is the ultimate Sonic experience, in every way. Sonic 2 invented Sonic gameplay while Sonic 1 introduced the raw materials, Sonic 3 and Knuckles perfected it, making it even more of a fast paced action game with the elemental shields that allowed you to customize your gameplay experience and switch between action features, adding even more of an adventure feeling with even more alternate paths in stages and play styles between different characters, and while like other mascot/toon platformers Sonic had always been colorful and lighthearted, it had something the others didn't in an actual plot and some level of drama, and it perfected that as well with the most fleshed out story with cinematic moments. All of this is Sonic perfected.

I only play as Sonic...sometimes I think it'd be nice to change up things and go the Knuckles or Tails route and see what changes their playstyles bring, but I just can't not choose Sonic....anyone else?

So, was 3 and Knuckles the ultimate Sonic Hedgehog game? The series really lost something when it went to 3D. The 'tude was kinda there in the 2D series of games, I guess, but kicking it up a notch in Adventure was probably a step in the wrong direction.

Convince me that this wasn't better than Super Mario World 1 and 2. Sonic 3 & Knuckles was the best 16 bit platformer of its era in every way.

As for you Donkey Kong fags, you can just quietly sit in your little corner and shut the hell up. This is about the real top dogs of 16 bit platforming. Not your fluke games.

This is the best of classic Sonic. It's a (near) perfect game. 9/10.
